Nizamabad: State Election Commissioner Nagireddy conducted review meeting with district level officials about General, Municipal and Local body elections and preperations of candidates at DRDA office of Nizamabad Collectorate.
During the meeting, he said that in Nizamabad and Bodhan Municipalities 326 candidates who have contested in the elections have not yet submitted their election expenditures. The expenditures of 210 candidates from Nizamabad Municipality and 116 from Bodhan are expected to be submitted immediately said State Election Commissioner V Nagireddi.
He informed that Election commission introduced modern election software called ‘Electrorol’ through which we can know the list of voters and other details of elections. Commissioner said that, we should know the number of male and female voters, election rules and regulations, candidate’s election affidavits, cases on candidates and other details about elections.
“Candidates should submit their expenditure details within 45 days, if not, notice will be issued notices to them. On whole, 771 candidates contested in Nizamabad municipality elections and among them, only 570 candidates till now submitted the expenditures. Notices will be issued very soon tot he remaining ones who are least bothered about responding to us” said, Nagireddi.
Collector Yogita Rana said that according to the orders or commissioner, notice will be issued to the contested candidates and that report will be submitted soon. DRO Padmakar, DPO Krishna Murthy, RDO Yadireddi and Municipal Commissioner also participated in this meeting.
