And so, just like that, the boss is back — at the height of sounding cliched, he’s back with a bang! Speculations have been rife about the stupendous success of Megastar’s comeback film Khaidi No. 150.

Whether the movie will be a hit or a miss is an altogether different story; but the excitement among fans cannot be missed. For millions of fans who have been waiting for this moment, it looks like Sankranti has come three days in advance. The very-much-palpable enthusiasm is just too infectious to ignore. Fans went crazy bursting crackers, garlanding Chiru’s cut-outs and flexis, decorating with festoons and organising bands with teen mar music.

Joining in the celebrations of the fans are bigwigs from the film fraternity who are all praise for Chiranjeevi — both for his decision to come back and also his amazing acting skills. ‘The King of Cinema is back to his forte’ seems to be the general mantra. If trade pundits are to be believed, Khaidi No. 150 is touted to be the highest grosser in the US for premiere shows. Having joined the 1 million club already, it’s expected to gross 3 million by this weekend.

The movie sure brings back nostalgic moments for Chiru fans. Many celebrities who watched the movie first day, first show are unable to contain their joy of seeing the boss back in action.

We heard Allu Arjun who watched the film at Sandhya theatre with wife Sneha in tow was unable to contain his happiness. A little birdie tells us that the entire mega family including Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha, his daughter Sushmita, the actor’s nephews and his mother Anjana Devi flocked to the same theatre to watch the movie.
