Bala Vikasa presents dual desk benches

About 550 benches were distributed to 18 government high schools.

Medak: Bala Vikasa, an NGO, with the help of district administration has distributed 550 dual desk benches to 18 government high schools in Chinnakondur mandal in Siddipet district.
Praising the work of Bala Vikasa, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has flagged off the vehicles that were carrying the dual desks to villages at Chinnakondur mandal headquarters.

Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that the government wanted to provide sufficient dual desks and digital classrooms to all the government schools across Telangana with the help of NGOs.

The Irrigation Minister said that they were able to present 2,100 dual desk benches to government schools under Siddipet Assembly constituency. He further added that remaining schools would also get the dual desk benches soon since many NGOs and industries were coming forward to donate dual desks.

Rao said that they have created digital classrooms in as many as 27 schools, and would like to extend facility to 16 more schools with the help of State Bank of Hyderabad. He lauded the work of Balaka Vikasa for coming forward to provide dual desks to government schools with good intention of improving facilities in the schools.

Representative of Bala Vikasa, Showri Reddy said that they were inspired by the work of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and the Irrigation Minister.

ZPTC Namundla Kamala Ramachandram, MPP Kura Manik Reddy, sarpanch Umesh Chandra and others were present.
